The latest member of the Frascold family is the new FVR Series screw compressor, presented at Euroshop 2020, the largest international trade fair dedicated to the Retail industry, held in Düsseldorf from February 16-20. This compact compressor is the result of many years of screw compressor experience.

The series consists of 37 models ranging from 30 to 180 Hp and from 120 to 540 m3 / h. A wide range of refrigerants includes R134a, R404A, R507, R407A, R407F, R448A, R449A and R290. The FVR Series is ideal for many uses including industrial, pharmaceutical, retail, marine and heat pump applications .
The FVR series includes versions L and H with evaporation temperatures down to -50°C and -20°C, respectively. They are plug-and-play solutions that stand out for their ease of installation, thanks to the universal compatibility of their connections and a 5% higher coefficient of performance (COP) than previous models. The strength of the FVR is its compact size, noiseless achieved by the special profile of the screws and partiality of the compressor, resulting in longer durability and significant energy savings. Finally, models of the series can be used with both HFC refrigerants and hydrocarbons such as propane R290. The FVR Series is compatible with VFD (variable frequency driver) for greater flexibility and efficiency. They also have a lower starting current compared to previous models, which helps reduce mechanical stress on components.
Various design changes have been made to simplify installation and maintenance, as well as better compressor efficiency. Alongside the new pressure line and oil injection port, the terminal plate has been moved to the side of the machine for easier piping.
